(“SL”) is a whole distributor of various snack food products manufactured by subsidiaries and affiliates of Snyder’s-Lance, Inc. throughout the United States and around the world. Products produced by the Snyder’s-Lance, Inc. family of companies include pretzels, sandwich crackers, potato chips, cookies, tortilla chips, restaurant-style crackers, popcorn, nuts and other snacks.


Snyder’s-Lance, Inc. (“SL”) has immediate opportunities for IDPs looking to expand into a new business venture.

In addition to acting as the main wholesale distributor of Snyder’s-Lance, Inc. branded products, SL also provides distribution services to a variety of unrelated snack food companies to assist in creating a diverse portfolio of products for IDPs to grow their businesses.   • Exclusive ownership of the distribution rights of Authorized Products to Authorized Outlets in a defined Territory
  • Non-exclusive ownership of the distribution rights of Other Products to Authorized Outlets and Authorized Products and Other Products to Other Outlets
  • Established customer relationships in the Territory
  • Ability to increase sales through the development of relationships with new customer accounts in the Territory


In order to pursue the purchase of a route with SL, IDPs must:

  • Be or become a legal, registered business entity (i.e. a limited liability company or corporation)
  • The individual(s) who own the IDP entity must pass credit check(s) if financing the route (Note: Route financing is available only through approved lenders)
  • The individual(s) who own the IDP entity must have a valid driver’s license
  • Obtain insurance coverage in accordance with all requirements in the name of the IDP entity prior to the route closing
